Uma Karuna Thurman was an American actor best known as the character 'Mia Wallace'"in the dark-comedy film "Pulpfiction." She was a Hollywood A-list actor for her part in the movie Pulp Fiction. She's a dedicated actress who does not mind shedding her glamorous appearance. She won awards due to her unglamorous appearance as a character in the "Kill Bill" film series. Her birthplace was in the family of people known for their unique ways of living and was blessed with a Hindu name as well as was raised with a Buddhist background. The slim girl whom people criticized for her large feet and an angular physique as she got older was slim in her frame. Though she is now popular for her gorgeous looks but there was a point that she felt very insecure of herself and her body. The acting profession was a way to find comfort and took part in dramatics in high school. Once she realized that acting was the path she wanted to take after high school, she left in the age of 15 in order to focus on an acting career.
